YDC Aims

 Through research and development, the YuMi Deadly Centre aims to enhance Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and low SES student learning at all levels (Early Childhood, Middle School, Post-Compulsory) to:

1. build employment capacity , enhance life chances, and foster empowerment;
2. support school and TAFE staff to teach these students effectively;
3. use decolonising research methodologies which directly benefit the researched;
4. support research capacity through its YuMi Deadly Degrees Program (at certificate, undergraduate, postgraduate, and higher-degree levels).
