This three-year (2012–14) project, Sustainable Numeracy Academy Project, has been funded by Independent Schools Queensland (ISQ). The major purpose of this project is to train and support numeracy coaches in Queensland Independent Schools and to provide professional learning experiences for teachers. YuMi Deadly Maths projects - QLD & NSW

This series of projects delivers the YuMi Deadly Maths program to schools in Queensland and New South Wales, either to individual schools or to regional clusters of schools. The projects are funded by individual schools. These intervention projects aim to trial and refine the YDM program in terms of its effectiveness in improving mathematics teaching and learning, and in relation to characteristics of schools, teachers and students.

In 2012, the YDM program was introduced through projects in five Central Queensland schools, two Brisbane schools, and three schools in the North Coast region. Schools in North and Far North Queensland and in New South Wales will implement YDM projects in 2013.
