Teaching resource booklets and other written materials form a key component of all YuMi Deadly Centre research projects.
Current resources are available to project participants through the following QUT Blackboard Community sites:
New teacher resources for Prep to Year 9 have now been developed to support aspects of the Australian Curriculum content descriptors and cross-curriculum priorities (embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and culture).
These may be used as lesson plans and follow the RAMR framework which is designed to develop the proficiencies – understanding, fluency, problem solving, and reasoning – to assist students to work mathematically.
Since 2011, we have been progressively uploading a number of resources from past projects to our website to be freely available to the wider community.
As with our projects, the resources are grouped into four clusters: Professional, Student, Vocational and Community Learning. These broad categories are further divided into topic areas, with information about the project for which the resources were developed (if applicable), followed by a brief description of each resource.
The resources are either in PDF format or in zipped folders containing Microsoft PowerPoint files.
