YuMi Deadly Centre

The YuMi Deadly Centre (YDC) is located within the Faculty of Education (Kelvin Grove) at Queensland University of Technology (QUT).

In keeping with the spirit of Reconciliation, YDC acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the lands where their research and service has been undertaken. In doing so, YDC pays its respects to the past, present and future Elders of these lands, and acknowledges the important role that Indigenous people continue to play in the QUT community.

YDC’s motif was developed by Blacklines, an Aboriginal organisation. It represents a journey from a small beginning (seed) to walking through a wide land (as an act of growth). YDC's vision, Growing community through education, encapsulates YDC’s  aims.
